This is the final version of “Morgan M. Morgansen’s Date With Destiny” that screened at Sundance 2010.  This was completed using nothing but the collaborative efforts of the hitRECord community.  The entire thing began as this made up word story by Metaphorest.  It caught hitRECord’s eye and was translated into this live action layer.  From there people added what they could contribute until they arrived at their final short film.  Pretty inspiring stuff.  Love it.

This Pedigree ad is shot at 1000 FPS using a Phantom Camera.  Amazing.

So cool!  This one of a kind necklace was created by jeweler Tom Binns & Disney Couture and is currently on sale at Fred Flare.  The miniature teacup, plate and utensil necklace is inspired by Alice in Wonderland.  Do you have $900 to spare?

So in love with this video!! It’s a stop motion engagement video using nothing but a stack of photo prints from the couples engagement photo session. Simple and effective. The Cure tune doesn’t hurt either. Created by Sarah Yates Photography. She has a beautiful photo blog featuring all of her work.

As a newly appointed bridesmaid for my lovely friends Coralie & Robin, I’ve had weddings on my mind a lot lately.

I found the most amazing site the other day called OnceWed. It’s all about beautiful DIY weddings on a budget. There are countless ideas, projects and resources to help you plan your wedding. The site features AMAZING photographs of real people and how they made their wedding day their own. I find the photographs and ideas incredibly inspiring.

Her Morning Elegance

Where the Wild Things Are

Christian Joy (designer of Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ front woman Karen O’s stage attire) has created five costumes based off of “Where the Wild Things Are”. You can see them at a special pop up shop exhibit at Space 15 Twenty in Los Angeles. Read more about the costumes here. I’ve yet to see the show for myself, but I plan on going soon.
